Eurasian Badger

Dachs

The badger may rightly be called an omnivore. His diet includes berries, fruit, grains, mushrooms, roots, insects, snails and small vertebrates. He eats whatever is in easy reach at the time, whereby he favours earthworms. Bagder leaving his den at night in late fall. Utting/Ammersee, Germany
