Grizzlies are solitary animals. They are omnivorous and eat any available animal, carrion or vegetation. They are expert swimmers and feed on salmon as they migrate upstream to spawn. The most unpredictable and dangerous of all bears, they fortunately in general avoid man. Knight Inlet, BC. Canada
