The Woodland Caribou is the largest and darkest of the caribou subspecies. It is found throughout much of the boreal, or northern, forests from British Columbia and the Yukon Territory to Newfoundland and Labrador. Woodland Caribou make seasonal movements from forested mountainsides in the winter to high, alpine tundra in the summer. Wildlife Preserve, Klondike Highway, Yukon, Canada
